How To Catch A Dinosaur is 40 pages long.
This is a lovely story for a child.
Derived From Web , Nov 12, 2021
My 6 year old grandson is a fan of dinosaurs. The book was made with care and was paid for. There is a dedication page in the front so that the receiver and giver can be named. If your girl or boy likes this kind of thing, then go for it, because the story is the next jewl in this adventure.

Disappointment.
Derived From Web , Mar 8, 2021
This book is boring and confusing. The little boy wants to win a bicycle at the fair. His friends are there to help him catch a dinosaur. There is some educational value here and there but the rhyming scheme is choppy. How not to catch a dinosaur should be the title of the title. I will not send this to my grandson because I think he would agree with me. The artwork was bold and bright. The poor thing doesn't look like a lizard when it's shown on the last page.

Confusing Story
Derived From Web , Dec 12, 2020
A very confusing story. Can't understand why it has a good rating. The story doesn't make sense. It is neither a science story nor a dinosaur story. Not worth buying.

disappointing
Derived From Web , Oct 20, 2020
Most of the book is pretty cute, and I had high hopes for it. I believe my grandson would like most of it. The end doesn't make sense. It's not a transition from not being able to catch a dinosaur to winning a science fair. I was checking to make sure the pages weren't stuck together. I'm sure my 4yo will be as well if I'm confused by this. I will spend my money on something better. This is going back.

Great pics rushed ending
Derived From Web , Mar 29, 2020
Cute, but felt rushed and sloppy. I had to search the book to see if ours was missing five pages, but alas, no. It was like the author gave up. It is about dinosaurs and kids will love it if they can find a used copy for $1 or borrow it from the library.

The pictures are fun
Derived From Web , Mar 23, 2020
The idea is fun but the rhyming is not great. It's hard to read out loud and it feels like a joke. I will stick with 3 stars because my 2yo loves it.

My son asks for it every night and that's what matters most.
Derived From Web , Mar 6, 2020
The book is cute. My 12 year old likes the bright pictures. My toddler likes that it's about a dinosaur, and has a robot in it. The only thing that makes me happy is the end. The last 2 pages of the book are unfinished and feel awkward because the whole book rhymes. My son loves it, he asks for it every night, and as long as he enjoys it, that's what means most to me.

Great for young kids who love dinosaurs
Derived From Web , Feb 28, 2020
This book is great for kids who love dinosaurs. I bought this book for my kids and they love it. They've read it many times. They love the silly ways the characters try to catch a dinosaur. It's easy for them to read themselves. Our library has books for them.
