Every year these pesky leprechauns attack our home, make messes, turn things green, put googly eyes on things and leave us gold coins in their wake. We thought that this would be a great book to teach us to catch those Leprechauns! Sadly, we do not get any trapping information in this book, but the kids still loved it anyway. I loved that it was inexpensive, hardcover, and the wording was a bit glimmer ''.

History line and pictures are great. We had so much fun reading it and often bringing it out way past St Patrick's day.

Disappointed

I was excited for this book for my daughter, who is 5. As an adult, Myself was disappointed with the ending. They don 't end up catching him or at least almost. It's just kinda like I didn 't catch the story over. Sorry to ruin it, but the book sucks. How to catch a.. are good books that is why I bought it, but skip this one (.

Three Year Old Loved It!
Derived From Web , Mar 5, 2021
I bought this book for my three-year-old son. We have a few of the other books from the How to Catch.. series and they have always been a hit. The rhymes were witty and funny, the illustrations were whimsical and comical, and he loved the sight of a little redheaded Leprechaun running around! It was now a bit of inspiration for him and is definitely on a mission to catch a Leprechaun!

Great read!

For some reason, my one-year-old is obsessed with this book. Nice sturdy cover but regular pages so that I can turn the pages. He loves seeing all the mischief that the Leprechaun gets into and points out where the Leprechaun is on each page.

My kid came home from the preschool worried that Leprechauns pinch. We got a book called “How to Catch a Leprechaun â€, which ended up telling her that leprechauns are uncatchable prank monsters who will put her shoes in the sink and paint her toilet green. There is not even a fun Maybe YOU 'LL be the one to catch me '' button at the end, just the ominous threat that No one has ever made a trap that can catch me! '' See you next year! Unsettling and unsatisfying!

They wait anxiously for a visit from the naughty Leprechaun. It was their magical food that they need to catch the Leprechaun.

very pleased with this book and I'm pretty picky about kid ...

Very happy with this book and I'm pretty picky about kid lit, beautiful painted illustrations that fill the entire page. Good rhymes, John ( Ryde '' ). The plot lends itself well to children, building a Leprechaun trap after they read the story. According to the book, a four - leaf clover is necessary to be successful. We bought gold coins and leprechaun footprints and a larger filled leprechaun to surprise our four-year-old granddaughter and her classmates.

Love it!

I bought this to teach my 2-year-old about St. Patrick's Day. I expected a great book because of all the positive reviews, but I was still gladly surprised by how much she loves it and how much I love reading it to her. The story is very well thought out and the pictures have an amazing detail. The book itself is also of high quality with thick, color rich pages and a sturdy hardcover. It is probably the best holiday book, I have come across with the exception of The Night Before Christmas.
