Insightful and important for the non-lawyer
Haven't finished my copy yet, but already have picked up great nuggets of info about how to handle sticky life situations with the care and precision of a lawyer's mind. Rather than trying to solve the problem from the outside, I tend to approach it from emotion and pre-formed opinions. The book helps you approach a problem from all angles without emotional entanglements. He has a unique way of writing that helps you understand complicated concepts and apply them directly to everyday life. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Good info if you know very little about the law
The author uses actual cases from law and demonstrates how and why the judgement was arrived at. If you are a layperson and just want to learn why your lawyer can think like he or she does, this is pretty good, she said. If, however, you are looking to solve a legal problem by becoming your own lawyer, this is not your resource. It is very good and I recommend it, but not for people looking to do their own independent law work for themselves.
