   Kid-approved
A pretty easy read, but my kids love the story so much they asked for all Haggis and Tank books. They often reread them.

   Fun books for 2nd grade
My second son loves these books! It is fun to help him learn different words, but the same spelling and teach him the difference. The illustrations are also very good!

   Cute dog characters
It is on the simpler side for him to read, but I think that reading is good for them. It is a nice story line and I love the 2 dog characters.
