This was not a bad read. It did not capture my attention well. It's a quick read, but had me stopped midway and continued later, which means it didn 't do much for me. I like it, though.

All stars : Every single star is a single star. In awe of your ability to say so much in such a succinct way about important topics. This collection of poetry by Erasure is brilliant, heartfelt and entertaining to read. And an absolutely wonderful companion to Baer's What Kind of Woman ''. * I always mean to read these poems, but end up savoring the whole book in one sitting.

This is my 1st book by Kate Baer and let me tell you that it was even better than I expected. I've followed her on Instagram for quite a while, but there is something completely satisfying about holding a paperback in your hand. Each poem is carefully crafted from a message she often receives supportive, but occasionally derogatory. The way she carries these messages and turns them into flowing, moving poems is amazing. I can not recommend this book enough ''. If you are looking for something to ease you into the poetry world, this is the one for you. If you're an avid poem lover like me, you'll love it too! Ms. Baer gives Bravo.

In fact, it read more like a Gotcha '' book than anything else. My favorite parts were those of negative messages that were then made into poems, but found the positive messages she received kind of eh '' I loved her first book of poetry, but this one was just not for me.
