This Book Is Awesome For My Kindergartener
My daughter is in kindergarten. I wanted to add a book for her to my order, but I had no idea what it was. It was perfect for us. It's all about how this little kid keeps saying that I forget when he makes big mistakes and messes that are hard for his mom to keep up with. It's funny. My daughter has been putting me through it. It reminded her of how hard she has to work to keep up with me, and I need to try and not let the stress get to me too much, because she is learning and maturing. It takes a while. Lord knows how much patience is required.
Everyone is missing out if you have never read these books to your children. Get the entire series. They are good books. When your children learn to read, they will want to read to you.
A favorite author of my daughter when she was growing up--now ...
It's a pleasure to purchase these fun and fast stories for my daughter's kids because she was a favorite author of mine when she was a child.
   We all forget sometimes...
The tale of Little Critter reminds both parents and children that we are all made of mistakes. We can learn to give each other room to grow if we read the emotions together.
   Cute story
When I was a kid, I loved reading Little Critter books. My four-year-old loves to read and memorize stories.
   Gender roles
The story is cute and funny, but why is the only one to remind him of stuff being his mom? I don't want him to think that I should be the only one helping him with daily tasks, so I'm considering removing it from my kid's shelf. It's sad.
   Such a cute book
The book seemed to be about my daughter and she loved it. I had to read it twice that night.
I Just Forgot (A Little Critter Book
A cute book. I love buying books for my kids that teach them to read and have fun with it.
   Children's Book
The author of the cute books is Mercer Mayer. The cricket or spider was always on the pages of the stories. They know it's ok to be human. Cute lessons to learn.
Perfect for 1st graders and meeting AR reading goals
13 years ago I had a son and my daughter started reading these books. I can tell you that having books on hand helped her reach her reading goal. In 1st grade, she could take the test on the book and get points and awards in class, which boosted her self esteem. The art of the newer books is a bit better than the older ones, but the stories are perfect. I plan on getting lots of these books for my son because he needs to read early on.
