Such a sweet little story

The first time I read this to my little one, I got choked up. Such a sweet little story, perfect for bedtime or at any time. I love you always, no matter what, and I will love you forever. This book is so specific and spells all the ways that a parent unconditionally loves a child. It is helpful in establishing a sense of security that a child can never lose your love, no matter what.

I used to read this book several times a day to my oldest child when he was a toddler. After moving a few times, our book disappeared somehow. Today I surprised my son and his face lit up and he said : I remember reading this book with you when I was little! he read quickly through the book with a smile on his face! I'm so glad we read this book again and I can 't wait to own it again with my other kids. It arrived in perfect condition and I couldn t be happier.

Perfect book for toddlers - even (or especially) very rowdy ones

This is one of my absolute favorite books for toddlers. We both love the message and, as others have mentioned, the meter is nice, so that he will actually listen to me read the whole thing — this is very rare. He is usually too excited or too busy and turns the page early or things along those lines, but this book he is all in. I knew he understood the message from a young age, but just now he turned to the page about anger and shouting and referenced a recent tantrum of his and we hugged and I am currently crying - it was too sweet!
