Until about 6 months ago, our three year old showed little to no interest in books at all. The first book that captivated him was a book about rockets and since then it has been pretty much multiple books about rockets and trains, with just a few others thrown here and there. Then we found the books by Pookie. We first received the Goodnight Pookie book and my son loves it so much that he wants to read it many times at bedtime, something he didn 't even request with his favorite rocket books! We bought him this one along with several other Boynton books and they are all hits! So glad to see him get into a book that is not focused on a vehicle or a superhero ''. Wonderful book highly recommended and not just for Valentine's day

My children are obsessed with this book, especially my 2 year old. I bought it for Valentine's Day, but it is good for any time of year. All about mother's love for her kid. I am often asked to read it multiple times a day, if I don 't get asked several times a day to read it. The pictures are fun and attention grabbing. The story is sweet and funny. It is also a nice quick read. I bought it so much I loved it for my nieces and nephews, I bought it for my nieces and nephews. They also loved it! They loved it!

My three children are HUGE fans of Pookie's books! The first book they read was the Halloween Book. Since then, we have been on a mission to read as many books as we can and to buy as many books as we can. In particular, I pre-ordered this book for my middle child, right around her birthday. I love reading just about any Little Pookie book. Pictures are colorful, but easily suited for its part of the story. The books have a beginning, a middle, and a final. Unlike some I bought that year that made you feel like a page or two must be missing. I receive these for my nearly 4 yr old granddaughter and she loves them and often asks to have them read to her.

Perfect for any day, but gave it up as Valentine's Day. We love Little Pookie and this completed our collection. Little Pookie is a cute little pig whose mama really adores. Looking forward to future books. They are just long enough for those pre- nap and bedtime snuggles. My 3 yr old would rather pick up 3 or 4 books than one longer story. These are perfect :

I could rave for days about Pookie & Pookie! This little pig stole the heart of my daughter, with the pages receiving more and more love as the days go on. We read this one every few days, but the entire Pookie collection is a staple in this house. This particular book is so very sweet and provides a plethory of opportunity for my little one to point out my hearts! Highly recommended for the youngins 1+!
