but she did still enjoy it as a new book
I bought a book. On the simple side, it's a little. Being that it's a paper back instead of a board book, I was assuming it would be more difficult. I have a 4 year old and it was simple for her, but she still enjoyed it. We gave this to a friend. I will find one more difficult if I purchase these in the future. The pages have 4 lines stating what to look for. When I looked at the cover, I thought it might be what each page looked like, but instead, each page has about 8 pictures. It's like looking at the front cover, they took the A and the few pictures around it and used them for one page. The front page is more like 9 pages from the book. It looks like a good book, but not as advanced as I wanted. This would be better for my younger daughter.

   No spying required.
I was unable to view the pictures inside the book I purchased from Amazon. I was led to believe that my daughter would be looking for letters in a bunch of other pictures, but sadly that is not the case. Each page has only two jumbo- sized letters, and the rhyming prose discusses the designs or patterns featured on the letters. This isn't a book that requires your child to play I spy or hunt for letters. Another book about letters for parents to read to their children. There is nothing wrong with reading books to children, but I feel this book is deceptive in its marketing. The low rating was what it was.

Nothing Like An I Spy Book
I should have read the reviews with the attached photos. The book is nice, but it is not a look and find book. I was hoping for more images than this, but it wasn't what I was hoping for, less images on a page than the traditional ISpy books.

   A disappointing gift
This was given to a neighborhood boy who just turned four. I'm almost embarrassed to give it, it's plain and boring. There isn't a I Spy aspect to it. It was okay for a few minutes.

   Disappointed
I was very disappointed in this book, I thought it would be the same as the other I spy books. I was hoping that my son would have to search for the letters on the page to make it more difficult, but it is not. I don't know why it's an I spy book, there's no need to spy. To the end.

   Disappointing
The letters are so large that your child doesn't have to focus on finding them. They' re larger than the other items. There aren't many other things that can be compared to the letters. The money was wasted.

Has nothing to do with I Spy 🤦🏼‍♀️
You would think the book would be full of pictures where you have time to find things hidden on each page that are not obvious. Not with this book. There is a letter on the other page of the story. I don't understand why the book is called "I spy."

   Deceiving
The book cover is misleading. We are big fans of WalterWick. He takes pictures that require a lot of hunting for objects. There isn't any kind of hunting in the book. My 3 year old was not interested in anything. I was in a rush to get a book to use as a time passer for a car trip and I wish I'd looked at the reviews before buying.

   Way too simple
I was not happy with this book. I expected it to be a little more engaging than the typical I Spy books, but I knew it would be a little easier. Each page had two giant letters and small objects. Is it possible to find the A? Yes, that's correct. You can find the book if you can open it. The 2- year- old was bored.
