   Awesome!
It was one of the best books I read in a long time! But when I first read it, I didn 't understand why the plane, which was on fire, went straight for him.

My 12 yr old grandson is a science and history buff and loves the I survived series. Gramma asked specifically for this one and He was happy to oblige. I got the library binding, which makes his book even more durable. He loves this book! He loves it! Thank you so much for the kind words!

These are great books for my reading tutoring students. The kids love stories and the format is awesome. It does my job easier and it almost makes my day when a student loves what they read.

Lauren Tarshis excites kids about historical events!
My 7-year-old loves all the books he has survived so far. He can read, but his father reads them to him and his little brother. The 7-year-old is so interested in history events now after reading a few of these books. This AuthoR should write text books to get more interested bravo from students!

   great story
This book had me on the edge the whole time. The book itself is very well written, but I wanted to point out an inaccuracy on the title. D Day was an OPERATION, not a BATTLE. Loved the whole book otherwise ''.
