   My 10yr old son LOVED this book (which took him two nights to read) ...
We had the privilege of having this author visit our school. My 10 year old son LOVED this book and couldn t wait to tell me all about it. We are planning on ordering all her I Survived '' series for him.

   Must read for youngsters living in Chicago
I loved this book as a read aloud for my 3rd and 4th graders. I loved this book as a read aloud for my 3rd and 4th graders. I plan on adding this to the novels we read in the 3rd grade. As a series, I have found the books I Survived... to be greatly motivating to reluctant readers, particularly boys.

I bought it for my 9 - year old niece. Not only was she intrigued by the story, but so was I when she read it out loud to me.

Bought some and ordered some and after reading the first couple with my 6-7 year old, we bought everyone from the series. Such a great read for young children. Fun and enjoyable, but true events are really fun and enjoyable. Great history lesson and makes learning fun. My son couldn t wait to start the next one. Highly recommended for any young reader. If you are not sure about it, I tell you that you’ll thank me after reading the first one. They are all fantastic!

I read this book because my granddaughter hated reading until she discovered the I Survived series. I wanted to see why she liked them so much. Now we can talk together about the stories and make the connection on the wonderful world of reading.
