Purchased for her at least 4th birthday and she has read it at least twice. She really enjoyed the extra info about molasses at the end.. Not super dramatic subject matter as some of the other books in this series.

Great book for a 10 year old

She enjoyed reading it, said Barbara Comstock, Justice Department spokeswoman. Based on the best-selling "Curious George" series, "The Princess Diaries" follows the exploits of a young princess as she battles her father and learns the value of patience. I liked that they gave factual details at the end of the book, like when the child was killed.

I received this book as a present from my wife. The whole corner was folded, and it looks like it was used. Very disappointed with the condition of this book.

Great books
Derived From Web , Mar 5, 2020
My son started reading the books when he was 8 or 9. He also enjoys history and these books are fun and interesting, even though they have historical facts. Even though he is a teenager, I am often surprised by the things he has learned from them. These are not historical fiction stories, but rather fictional stories told through the prism of contemporary events. And, yes, they are learning as well as reading a cool story.

Unreal but true
Derived From Web , Dec 27, 2019
The book describes an incredible, true, but unbelievable story in a very vivid way, Turner said. Even as an adult, I was pulled into the story from the beginning. Yes, I bought it for my granddaughter, but I decided to read it because it was just too hard to believe it actually happened. Go from disbelief to insanity in a split second.

Couldn’t put it down!
Derived From Web , Dec 13, 2019
I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, and this book is by far the best. I own all the "I Survived" books and this one didn't disappoint! It's great to hear from people who have used it. This is a part of history I didn't know about and the way the story was told made me feel like I was part of the event! I'm delighted the book was so well written.

good series of books

The series has been a hit with both children and their parents. We were both wondering how in the world you could have a flood with molasses, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

This series will motivate every age and level of reader. Wish I had another set for her.

I purchased the entire series and donated it to a 4th grade classroom. The teacher was so excited! the teacher was so excited! She has also said that her students are motivated to read and to finish the book. This series, from a child's point of view, helps them see they are stronger than they were.
