I wish my parents would have taught me how to be confident. The lessons in this book are wonderful. You can talk to your kids as you read this book. The book teaches them to be confident and to appreciate other people who are different from them. I bought three for each of my grand kids.

I like this one because I am a parent and a psychologist. I got it for my 6 year old who isn't interested. We made jewelry using the messages in the book to remind us of each one, and used some of the Affirmations with a bracelet making craft. It would be nice to make these into pictures or something they could carry with them.

I read this book with my kids. We talked about how to make positive changes in our lives. We put post- its around the mirror in their bathroom and started the mirror work. It's been a great exercise to do together and we' re continuing to build on it. Highly recommend to other families.

Absolutely WONDERFUL!

I try to instill in my students the power of positive thinking every year in 2 nd grade. They need to know the power of their little minds because what we tell ourselves can make or break us. It took me until my 30's to understand how my negative thoughts were affecting my life. The book has the perfect message for everyone and is beautiful. My 2 nd graders will be hearing it all year.

The message is great, but it is boring to my kids. I force it on them because I adore Louise Hay. It wasn't a great read, but it was a good message.
