The binding, the cover and the illustration of this are beautiful, but the story didn 't make sense and didn 't have to do with the mommy and the baby fox on the front cover at all. I bought three copies to keep and a couple to give to a friend who had adopted a baby, but I decided to return them instead.

For pro-life parents with no self esteem. Kids will hate it.

It is not very simple and not very clever. It is like someone took random examples of animal behavior, put in front of them, scrambled them with these annoying breaks of self flagellation, and finally wrapped them all in not so vailed pro-life bow. I mean that even if anti-abortion is not the message, it is not compelling. This book has no rhythm to reading for the child's sake and teaches nothing. If you are a parent and want to feel good about yourself, this might be for you, because it is made for you and only you and will not provide anything to the child you read it to except eye rolls and loss of interest in reading with you all together.

The photos are very cute! I wish there was a preview available in the photos provided because I didn 't realize that it would be the kind of book that has one sentence spread over 2 pages. Very simple, but I can also imagine that it may be hard for a little one to understand. Ah well, still very pretty and I am sure it will be fine.
