A New York Times Bestseller

An achingly authentic and raw portrait of love, regret, and the life-altering impact of the relationships we hold closest to us, this YA bestseller is perfect for fans of Kasie West, All the Bright Places, and Dear Evan Hansen

If he had been with me, everything would have been different.

Autumn and Finn used to be inseparable. But then something changed. Or they changed. Now, they do their best to ignore each other.

Autumn has her boyfriend Jamie, and her close-knit group of friends. And Finn has become that boy at school, the one everyone wants to be around.

That still doesn't stop the way Autumn feels every time she and Finn cross paths, and the growing, nagging thought that maybe things could have been different. Maybe they should be together.

But come August, things will change forever. And as time passes, Autumn will be forced to confront how else life might have been different if they had never parted ways.

Captivating and heartbreaking, If He Had Been with Me is perfect for readers looking for:

  • Contemporary teen romance books
  • unputdownable novels
  • complex emotional YA stories
  • Jenny Han meets Dear Evan Hansen

   Not worth the hype
This book has over 4.5 stars everywhere, which normally means in some way it can live up to that. The first 300 pages of this was just following this girl through high school and then the last 100 pages had the most insanr twist and turns with the most insane ending, with what another review called "a dumpster fire". I definitely agree. Worth the skip tbh

If They Had Known What I Knew.
The ending was good, too, as was the story. There were a lot of dull pages in between. It's a bit ridiculous, I thought, that neither one of them had a clue that they were in love. The reader, for example, did not hesitate to correct the error.

   Wow
A coming of age story that immerses you in main characters mind with the exceptional details. This is a read straight through story, by Taboolaby Taboola It was great to hear the music, said Kim Andree, executive director of music for AOL Europe.

   Good but predictable.
I liked this book enough to finish it, but that was about it. I've loved the idea of this book and the story line. The author describes beautifully things throughout the book, but it almost feels like there was a deadline to finish and the ending loses. After finishing, I wasn't sad or emotional about the characters and felt little attachment to them. Overall this book kept my attention but I would not read it again.

   This book DRAGS
NOTHING happens until the end and then that's it. The main character isn't very like and I'm not a huge fan of long narratives with very few dialogue. It was so mundane my glazed over and I wound just feel drained wasting my time reading a chapter that seems to have no purpose. I only kept reading because I knew what was gonna happen at the end but I feel like I wasted my time and sanity. The end result was a stupid open ending.

This was fantastic! Such a fantastic plot!
This is a high school coming of age story. It has mental illness, and other possible triggers. They have been best friends since they were babies, and they have birthdays only a week apart. They grew up together and are best friends, but high school is hard and things change. The Brothers Grimm's story is told through the eyes of three brothers who escaped a Melbourne prison. I cannot begin to express my feelings about this book, but I know that it will stick with me forever. There are just things you know when you find a book and start reading it. You know when you connect with the characters and the writing is so good you can't put it down. They know when they have stumbled upon a book that will crush them when they won't ever be able to read it. That's a book. The writing, the plot, the characters were all five stars for me. I was hooked from the start. The writing transported me and became an escape, which is what I love about reading. This book made me feel, well, everything. It was a phenomenal performance, said Goodrich, director of NASA's Ames Research Center in California.
