   Sweet and pretty
This book is beautiful, too. The ending to this beautiful story brings me comfort. I am a sucker for sweet books, and this one seemed perfect for my niece. It is poetic, which may be confusing for a little kid, but the message is pretty.

   The sweetest read
Oh this is just the sweetest book I think I have ever purchased for my daughter. I have a list of Amazon books to buy for my children that I base it on how aesthetically pleasing the covers are. It's also perfect for my 1st grader as she's strengthening her reading skills. I would highly recommend this book on its own, but it really is fantastic for new and emerging readers, said Claudia Rothfuss. One of my favorites to reach for at bedtime and I've got it on my list of items to gift as well.

   A Sentimental Favorite
Even though I have no intention of harming him, I told my husband that if anything should ever happen to me, I wanted him to give this book to my oldest daughter. Not only are the illustrations beautifully stylized, but the text has endeared itself to me and to my four year old-over time. Whenever I say, 'If I had a little dream, I would name it You, my daughter responds.

   Beautiful book - adorable poem
I have been telling everybody I know about this book. This is one of the most beautiful books I've seen. The illustrations are beautiful, too. The book and dust jacket are both extremely high quality. I absolutely love this book. Some books I buy because they are beautiful and some because I buy for the story, not necessarily.

   A simple book with so much to discover inside!
This is a delightful and different book, Simon says. It's a simple book with wonderful illustrations, said Blair. It's just that all of our kids love looking through this book and having it read to them. There is so much to discover on each page, and the kids are noticing new things all the time. The fifth nominee for best picture is Melissa Castrillon for "If I Had a Little Dream." The words are so smooth and feel so perfect. This book is very sweet, very colorful and has all the makings of a good read.

I've read all the books, and I love this one. I read it to my daughter every few days and she absolutely adores it. The story itself is a darling, and I always tear up on the last page. The Boss is going to get this for my friends who are having little girls.
