Fun & Beautifully Illustrated
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
If you give a book, there is a whole series of books. They are all cleverly written and funny. My 2 year old daughter laughs with them and loves when I read them hysterically. I also enjoy reading them, and I enjoy reading them too. The pages are vibrant and the illustrations are beautiful. The pages are also thick and durable, which I appreciate as a mother of a tot. Overall, this is a beautiful, fun and durable book that has been written well. I recommend it ''. Check out if you give a pancake to a pig, check out if you give a pancake. This is our favorite book!

Not the strongest If You Give book, but still good
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
Having read the reviews by others who thought that this book did not flow well, I tend to agree. The flow of the events isn't as seamless as if you give a mouse a cookie and if you give a pig a pancake. But it is still a great read and my toddler loves it. She's a cat lover and I bought this book alone on this fact. Yes, there are some things that don 't make a ton of sense in this book... but really do many children's books make perfect sense? She loves it and is good enough for me. If you have the money to get one or two If You Give Books books, I would get the others I listed above before getting this one. I think they are better stories. But, I am not sorry I bought this one and my toddler sure loves it and that's all that matters to me.

No cupcake for this cat

I love cats and I love this book series, but I was very disappointed with this title. I think it is my least favorite out of all of them. It flows logically just like that.

Skippable
Derived From Web , Aug 21, 2021
I am a huge children's book lover and take most reviews with a grain of salt, I feel that people can be really harsh or picky when it comes to reviewing products. But the negative reviews for this book were pretty spot-on. I bought it for a friends'apos ; birthday I bought it for a friends'Daughters birthday. I like the series “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie , I still have my original If You Give a Mouse a Cookie '' from the elementary school. But this was all over the place. It felt like there was 't much thought put into it, no real rhyme or reason, and like it was written in 5-10 minutes. It is definitely a skippable book in the series and my least favorite. I am almost not sure if I want to gift this book, it is that disappointing.

This one is not quite believable, even in make-believe
Derived From Web , Apr 23, 2019
I give most of the if you own. . books in the series and our extended family plus loved family, enjoy them all. If you get a negative comment about a book in the series, throw out the whole set in your mind. The stories are make-believe and yet imitate a parent or caregiver for a day's exhausted child because of the inexhaustible energy that the child has. I know there is quite a bit of the impossible in all stories, but this one took the cupcake. Concerning whether you give a cat a cupcake one of the adventures is, he'll want to go to the beach. He 'll want to go in the water. What cat will be in the water on its owners shoulders gently, not scratching and clawing to get away? That was a step I just couldn t take.

Give real descriptions!!
Derived From Web , Jul 24, 2018
I never mind a used book. Books should be read by many eyes. If you are selling used books, be truthful with your audience. I was looking for this book to add to my library of my sons. These books are his favorite. I bought this thinking that it was a used hard cover book, like it said, but was misinformed. It is a mini book by a chick fil a children's meal. I just spent 10$ on a free toy from chic fil a... It's funny... but not really lol. I'm just going to Barnes and Noble for this book. I return this toy .
