Mover over Mouse, here comes Moose
If you give a mouse a cookie it works. The illustrations are bright and engaging, the story is cute and moves well, and it's a book I can read to my toddlers multiple times without getting sick of it. It's great to transition from reading to your child to reading it on your own. After we finished The Moose Book, my daughter wanted to read it again and insisted I read it. After the second time through, she took the book to the couch and read it on her own. My 2 year old will sit all the way through it, which is saying something because he usually stops reading after the first couple pages of a book. My daughter is using her socks. D.

Another great read in this excellent series!
Laura has done it before. The ' If you give a...' series was first introduced to me by an adorable little mouse. The illustrations are lovely and the learning theme is important. They can use their own cognisance to determine what that creature is going to want next. It's a fun adventure for children of all ages. The piggies, the cat, and the puppy are all books I' ve enjoyed. The moose is my favorite. I think he's very risky. Whenever a friend has a baby shower or first birthday, I give them these books as gifts.

I don't have kids, nor do I want any ...
I do not want any kids. Most laws and regulations of public decency prevent me from walking up to a random child on the street and reading this book to them, but this book made me wish I had a small person to read it to. If a moose walked into your backyard and asked you for muffins, this is how your afternoon is going to be, and I found this book completely delightful. I would send this to anyone in Alaska who had young children.

   Very cute!
There is a cute story in this picture. My book jacket was torn and it makes for a disappointing gift presentation. There is no time to go back before the shower.

Not at all "used - very good"
There was a description that the pages were in good shape. Correct. The pages were clearly read by little children. The book was barely acceptable, so it should have been listed as acceptable.

   Delightful book
I already had If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and fell in love with the concept, so I got the moose one for my granddaughter. We will have many more months, perhaps years, of reading this book and maybe we will get more in the series.

   A fun gift.
I bought this book to give as a baby present, and I made a crochet moose out of it. It was an adventure and I'm sure it will be used for a long time. They have to buy a new book because the one they have is worn out.

   A great Baby shower Book
A request for a book is the new thing at baby showers. I have been to many showers and they always have a new one. You can get a boxed set of the books and give one at a time.

I read this book to my children when they were small and they still remember it. My niece is having a baby and I bought her a book that she will enjoy reading to her kids.
