   Not an easy read
It is a great book, but I must confess that it is not an easy read. I recommend this book only for those who want to explore Jungian dreamworks, but not for the lay reader.

   Great book
I love this book because it gives me an in-depth clear approach to working with my dreams and bringing those dreams to fruition in my every day life. Often, books I read about dreams give me great symbolic understanding, but this book takes it to a whole nother level of doing something about things that happen in your dream world. It recommended it for anyone who is doing spiritual work, psychological work and dream work.

Wonderful guide to Dream Work and Active Imagination
I have used this book for a while now as a guide to working with dreams and active conceit. Dr. Johnson is my favorite Jungian writer and speaker amongst Jungian writers and speakers. His thoughtful approach and openness to many possibilities shows how his wisdom has evolved over the years. Like many people, I like to use meditation as a method to work with my imagination actively, and the discoveries I have made are quite helpful. For the meditation part I use this hidden book called Two, One, None Conversations on Meditations by Toru Sato, which helped me delve deeper into the amazing layers of my psyche. This is also a great read!

Good Jungian Perspective on Dreams and Active Imagination
In addition to the dreams, this book also covers Jung's active imagination. A little more than 13 of the book is devoted to Active Imagination. Instructions, examples, and practices are covered in a fair amount of detail. If you're looking for more information and direction on active imagination, I would suggest a lesser known book entitled Imagination as Space of Freedom by Verena Kast.

A great book on dreams and imagination
It has been a great reading experience. Deep, very wise, inspiring and all told in a language that captures attention. I feel inspired and internally richer ''. A great reading for all people who seek fullness and harmony in their life.

   An excellent starting point
While I have been unimpressed by some of Johnson's other works, I found this work to be excellent terse, cogent and practical. If you are thinking about internal work, this is an excellent place to start.

   Understanding Jung in daily practice
I have read a lot of Jung, Joseph Campbell, various other experts on mythology and symbolism, but this book put all that knowledge and information into practical and applicable form. The application of these theories and ideas is better explained and articulated here than in any other book I have read.
