   Great book, amazing professor, killer price.
He wrote this book to make the material more accessible to students and cheaper. You can find the book free of charge online along with videos showing how to deal with problems. But I prefer the hard copy over PDF much more. YouTube can not handle foreign accents.

The book is nice and concise with clear and concise chapters. But since there are no solutions available for the end of chapter problems not required for self-study, I can not use this book to its fullest potential.

   Well written poorly bound book.
This textbook on the probability is very simple and gradual. It starts with describing the sets and slowly moves into probability. It seems to know nothing from the beginning about it, but assumes to be thorough. The only problem is the binding, which falls apart not much longer than when you open the book crack open. I received a rebound through another vendor and cost as much as the book itself, but well worth it. I will probably refer to this book for years.

This is a book intended for any kind of reader, whether it be someone who took a few calculus classes or someone who wants an easy-to-follow overview of some more advanced applications in probability theory. Sure, it does not follow the strict level of analysis that other graduate books on the subject do, but he does just fine without it to show each of the proofs.

   Highly recommend this particular book on probability and stats
I received this book for probability and statistics for my graduate econometrics class. I liked this book '', because the author provides lots of problems and solutions. I came from an engineering background and did not have math or statistics - undergrad, and felt that the materials covered in this book was deep enough for my class.

   Another poorly written College Textbook
I have had a year of college algebraics and the author seems to choose examples that are intentionally arcane and have giant skips in thoughtful logic. Missed badly and unsecessarily abstruse. As well, I suppose that I will now rely on YouTube videos to learn probability and statistics. A very DISAPPOINTING is very difficult.

   One of the best textbooks I have ever read
This is one of the best textbooks I ever read. The chapters are laid out very clearly. Important ideas are given in terms as simple and clear as possible and ample examples and exercises with answers were explained to help improve your understanding. I took a class of statistics when I was in college many years ago, and was a very dry and hard class in my memory. I found it quite enjoyable to read this book ''.

   Excellent Textbook!
This textbook is what I call the probability and statistics made easy! I have tried other textbooks on this subject, but none come close to this text in terms of explanations and pedagogy in my honest opinion! I am more confident about this all-important subject, which is ubiquitous in our everyday lives thanks to this textbook and its online resources! I recommend this text to anyone who would like to learn and/or sharpen a lot about this subject at their own time and pace.

   The Best Statistics Textbook Ever!
I purchased this book one month ago, but did not leave any comment the first time I opened this book. I want to actually use this book and do some self-learning for a while, then come back here to have a fair comment. The truth is that this book is very practical and useful for both first-time students and self-learning aces. They are worth the second or third times to understand the key materials better. I love this book and I will continue the self-learning using this fantastic book by Professor Hossein Pishro-Nik!
