Must for Kids who love Math Puzzles
My 8 year old LOVES solving challenging math puzzles and we got this book for her winter break. Each chapter has eight puzzles categorized by difficulty level as warm-up, head scratcher, mind bender and brain buster. If you are looking for challenging puzzles, this book is for you.

Excelling challenge in logic and reasoning for the child who lives to think!
She has a very good sense of numbers and enjoys solving problems. For her eighth birthday, I ordered her this book and she texts me a picture of a page that she has completed all by herself. This is a very motivating and well thought out combination of activities for that child who enjoys solving difficult problems using logical reasoning.

   Great for making teaching fun!
As a tutor, I have used this book with a few of my students. All the kids love the puzzles, too. I especially like how the puzzles vary in difficulty, and I also like that there are a variety of different types of puzzles, Ms. Fassett said. Adding these puzzles to my tutoring sessions has allowed me to add some fun to my classes and has kept my students engaged while they learn, Ms. E.L. Barrera said.

Fun activity to add to the summer!
There are some great activities to stretch your thinking. They progressively get more complex and even I, as an adult, have trouble with them, needed extra time to solve. This teaches kids more than math - logical thinking, attention to detail, patience and persistence, he said.

Not your typical math workbook! 11-year-old and 8-year-old love it!
When we received our Do the Math book, my daughter jumped right in and started solving the puzzles. He enjoyed solving the puzzles, even if it was just a few. It was fun to work through the activities with my 8-year-old and watch her logical thinking grow as she worked through the progressive activities, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. The authors provide tips and support through beautifully designed graphics that helped them work their way up to more challenging puzzles with confidence. I highly recommend Do the Math!, he said. i received a promotional copy of this book from Amazon. com.

Quite challenging for 8-12 and even older.
It's great to be back home, my grandson said. He just started it to keep up with his math skills. The puzzles get harder and harder as the game progresses. There is an answer key in the back. The honor system, of course, is what really made Beckham a star.

Fun book for kids (and adults!)
My 7 year old's favourite part is the emoji math, and she has been telling her friends to get the book too! The book is a great example of how math can be used to be creative. Forget multiplication tables and formulas. Exploring ideas and having fun are the order of the day, not the letter. Thanks to the authors for making notes in the margins to encourage and help kids along. They anticipate spots where kids might get stuck along the way and give them a little push to keep going and keep trying, they said.
