   A Really Funny Series
My six-year-old son loves this series. He reads them on his own and he chooses these for his bedtime stories with me. Even his elder sister, who grew up reading dogman and captain underpants, wants to sit at his bedtime to hear InvestiGators. I think they're funny and I even found myself getting into the stories after a few pass-throughs. I'm not a huge graphic novel fan, but I can certainly appreciate how funny and clever these books are. I love that my son loves reading these and they've motivated him to read independently.
   Grandson is now a fan
My grandson loved every dogman - book I gave him. Investigators '', I thought I 'd try an Investigators '' book. He informed me that it was also fantastic... hint himt... Guess that it’ll be his birthday gift!
Great series. Cant wait for more.
My 10 yo loved this series. My 10 yo '' loved this series. He said he was not sure he would like it when he first received it, but told me he really enjoyed them. In my book, that's a win.
   Super cute graphic novel series
For those who are dog man fans, this is another great series that is very similar. My 8-year-old son loves this series. It's a quick read for him and one that he reads over and over. Cute graphics, fun plot and a cute series to keep the kids entertained and reading!
   A big hit
I bought this book as soon as it came out ''. I had given my great-niece the two previous investigators, whom she loved while riding in the car and reading to her second classmates. She was overjoyed to become #3.
   Great for budding readers.
The series is great : My son had read all of them so far, and we have already ordered the release for Sept. His first reading was M when we ordered the Leveled Book and is now P and he still wants to continue the series. The large format of the graphic novel makes him forget that he is reading so many pages in one sitting. For a graphic novel, they do a great job in introducing new words with context that makes them easy to figure out.
   Big Laughs
Green's expertly crafted puns and comedic timing make for big laugh-out-loud moments for all ages. As the number of characters and overarching plot lines have steadily increased from book to book, however, that magic balance green reaches in the first two books toward action and away from humor. Green writes great characters, but uncannily humorous and nuanced, but it might be time to slash the cast a bit before it turns into a series of cameos. Don 't jump the shark.
Great new series for young readers
My son is a reluctant reader, but begs for books from this new series, which he says is 5000 times better than DogMan. Until recently, DogMan books were all he would read on his own, so that says a lot!
