Is Atheism Dead? is a highly entertaining, impressively wide-ranging, and decidedly provocative answer to that famous 1966 TIME cover that itself provocatively asked Is God Dead? In a voice that is by turns witty, muscular, and poetic, Metaxas echoes C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton in cheerfully and logically making his case, along the way presenting breathtaking--and sometimes astonishing--new evidence and arguments against the idea of a Creatorless universe. Taken all together, he shows that much we have assumed about the biggest questions of human existence is in fact dramatically outdated -- and is therefore in need of the most urgent reevaluation.
Is Atheism Dead? is 256 pages long.
Fascinating Read

The book gave me a lot of information. There are zings of humor and it is infinitely readable. The literary foundations of skill and detail are documented and present in true Metaxas form. I loved this book. Highly recommended.

A Most Educational and Awe Inspiring Book

The researchdiscoveries that supported both the Bible's authenticity and the scientific proof of creation were supported by this book. One cannot deny the Hand of God in our lives when reading about the universe and the design of mankind. Eric Metaxas has done a great job.

Great compilation of current research

I was aware of at least half of the science and archeological discoveries, but the other half was astounding. It is more important that all of these discoveries are in one document. The evidence is overwhelming for the God of the Bible.

Yep, It's dead

This book brings light to the darkness in a world where foolish is called wise and wrong is called right. I wish it didn't rely so much on old earth assumptions, but I understand that's where much of science is at the moment. The case is compelling. It brings examples and reasoning which clearly show that there is no God. It also shows that the God of the Bible is not unreasonable to believe. The book does a good job of shoring up the choir with meaningful lines of reasoning that might help those called upon to give a defense for the faith.

There was no choice but to believe in an intelligent creator when interviewing a scientist. The book was mentioned so I signed up early. The first few chapters are full of facts that are thought provoking. I'm going to share with the unbelievers that it's worth a read.

It’s Atheism, not Faith, that’s Incompatible with Science...
Derived From Web , Oct 20, 2021
Is that statement giving you pause or worse? I want you to muster the intellectual courage to read this well researched, thought-provoking and enjoyable read from Eric Metaxas. Our culture has compelled us to think on the most important of questions, but the science isn't as settled as it could be. Faith and science do not need to be enemies. The book surveys the most recent discoveries from astronomy, biology, and biblical archeology along with the journey of great thinkers on this topic. It steps into the ring to address and refute the arguments made by Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens in their books. If you are encouraged by the statement, you will need to put on the intellectual armour of this book so that you can give an answer for the hope in you.
