From the creators of the critically acclaimed The Night Gardener and Ocean Meets Sky comes a whimsical and elegantly illustrated picture book about community, art, the importance of giving back--and the wonder that fell from the sky.
It fell from the sky on a Thursday. None of the insects know where it came from, or what it is. Some say it's an egg. Others, a gumdrop. But whatever it is, it fell near Spider's house, so he's convinced it belongs to him. Spider builds a wonderous display so that insects from far and wide can come look at the marvel. Spider has their best interests at heart. So what if he has to charge a small fee? So what if the lines are long? So what if no one can even see the wonder anymore? But what will Spider do after everyone stops showing up?The recommended reading level for It Fell From The Sky is Preschool through 3rd Grade .
It Fell From The Sky is 56 pages long.
Clever story fantastically illustrated

The luminescent sphere, in the midst of the insects and foliage rendered with skill in black and white, is captivating! The story is witty and engaging for any age, and the artwork is irresistible. There are hundreds of insects, wearing hats that come to investigate the fantastical sphere that fell from the sky. Wonroust book.

Disappointing
Derived From Web , Jan 14, 2022
The cover photo was lovely, and the description of the content was engaging. However, both the content and the illustrations left a lot to be desired. The entire story was not particularly interesting or coherent. What's more, the web spider came to represent the ancient world, Tunick said. We were supposed to know he was the bad guy, and most important, what was the take-away message for a child? The illustrations, by contrast, were anachronistic, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It's a marble, isn't it? What a modern three-year-old has a clue what those are?

A book with anti-greed message
Derived From Web , Jan 11, 2022
It Fell Form the Sky! I think it's great, Keanu Reeves said of the Matrix. It's great to see such a passionate fan of the game still alive, even though it contains an anti-capitalist message. It tells of a child loosing his marble in the bush, and the insects were amazed at this marvelous object. But the spider claimed to own it because it fell on its web and started charging people who want to see it. It made a lot of money, but lost all his friends, too.

beautifully illustrated but the plot is inappropriate for a picture book
Derived From Web , Jan 3, 2022
This book is a joy to look at, said Dr. Goin. The pictures are truly exceptional, said Dr. Goin. I absolutely love insects as the main characters, Kristen. The plot is greed-based, with the web spider alienated from his community by his greed. However, he eventually redeems himself and is accepted back into the community. If your child is seriously into bugs, they will enjoy the illustrations, but I can't recommend the story.

Poor storyline
Derived From Web , Dec 19, 2021
However, the storyline, in this regard, is lacking. The Intrigue of the insects with the marble is fantastic but in the end, the message about the spider being greedy seems to me to be taking a jab at capitalism.

My daughter has over 100 bucks and I don't blame her. It would have to be top 10 for sure, Mr. Rule told the judge. Don't know why it only had a few reviews this book is great!... the story was so fun and exciting for my little girl and all the bugs where awesome she loves! If you think your child is too young to buy a toy, don't hesitate to buy it when she is ready.

Gorgeous and Hilarious
Derived From Web , Nov 6, 2021
And the last page made me laugh out loud. As for the illustrations, I must admit that the scale is as spectacular as I expected, but so much more. The use of black and white and color adds to the story and they managed to draw a bunch of insects with individual personalities. 0 31712010 As seen in the video, the team drew a bunch of insects with individual personalities. I hope this book is nominated for a medal. 0 2622010 2622070 Sosa's book was also first on the list of Carnegie's 40th anniversary books. It's great to be back home, said James Brolin, executive producer of CBS Television. Love is what makes us tick.

It's great to see people still talking about it." It tells a story and has a message, but doesn't spell it out for the reader. The work is amazing, said Jackson. The Fan Brothers are legendary for their philanthropy.
