Perfect addition to the Curious George collection
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My 2 year old loves Curious George and so I bought this immediately after hearing about it. When she saw it, she exclaimed "monKEY!" She loved the pictures and had me read them to her. I didn't have anything in popular culture that I could relate to. I'm happy that my daughter can have something that makes her feel like she's part of American culture. For children of other faiths, it can help bridge understandings and expand their minds. The book is not preachy and Curious George does not join the fast. A friend of his decides to fast that year and Curious George helps him keep his mind off food until it's time to break fast. I grew up reading Christmas, Hanukkah, Chinese New Year and other faith and cultural tradition books to understand others better and know more about the world at a young age.

Great book, perfect quality, came brand-new, no damage.
Derived From Web , Nov 13, 2021
My daughter loves this book. We read it every week. It is cute and hits all the major traditions of the month. I'm happy to have an English-centered book about Islam. It has been difficult to find books for kids that are written in plain English, with an American-style culture that respects and explains parts of Islam in an everyday way, just like you find millions of books explaining other religious holidays. I have fond memories of reading Curious George when I was a child. My daughter and other children still enjoy these stories. The hope is that we can show and tell this book to our schoolmates so that she can share her lifestyle with others. What you would expect from a Curious George story!

The book is informative. I would have given it 5 stars but it was damaged on the title page. I hope my kids don't like it. It is a staple to have for children who enjoy George and are curious. The book is perfect for Muslim kids.

Excellent book. There was a slight stain on the cover but it was still in great condition and a wonderful gift for a friend who is starting a library for her baby. When I was a kid, I had to read the Ramadan book to understand our religion.

A holiday classic!
Derived From Web , Jul 29, 2020
This book is a great addition to your family's rituals during the holy month of Ramadan. It reminds us of the true spirit of the holiday, teaches younger ones about the holiday, and gives us creative ideas of how to take advantage of it. Many parents will remember the character of Curious George from their own childhoods. It's fun to read and it's enjoyable for everyone. P.S. I bought it for my entire family because I liked it so much.

Great for kids
Derived From Web , Dec 30, 2019
It's hard to introduce new religions to children. I read this book to my kindergarten class because we have a student that celebrates the holy month of Ramadan with their family. I read it twice for better understanding because the kids were very interested. It was worth it.
