   Great book! Explans things well
This is very well written. All books are usually added to my cart. I thought the hard copy would be more helpful. It definitely did. It has helped me in my quest to better understand my body, what I eat, and how it affects me.

   Changed my life
I have been on a diet for years only to fall back into old habits. My step-daughter told me that she was reading the book. It changed the way I look at food. The writing style is laid back, but it makes you think about your body's relationship to food. I've heard it before but the way it was written sunk in this time. I lost 18 months on their Whole30 plan in one month after reading the book. My co-workers have also started it. We agree that we are no longer looking for snacks in the afternoon and are making better choices when we eat. I will be eating this way for the rest of my life, as will my friends and step-daughter.

   So THAT's Why I felt that way!
I thought I was smart when I was a nurse. After being diagnosed with fibomyositis in the 80's, my stomach went into revolt. One day I could eat a food and the next it was not. Allergists said I was fine. I've been to many different practitioners, and was finally diagnosed with a condition called leaky gut. I would have liked to have had this book sooner. It could have helped me with my abdominal pain. I have found that incorporating these principles into my diet has given me more energy and less bad days. I didn't do the full 30 days, but knowing my triggers helped me get on track. Thank you to the Hartwigs! I feel like I can live life to the full again.

   GET EDUCATED about your FOOD CHOICES
The conceptsprinciples discussed in this book have helped me make more informed decisions about the foods I prepare for my family. I've made some changes to things we consume to create a more healthy lifestyle, and I'm learning that a lot of what I'm already doing is great! I don't follow everything, but I have taken what my family needed from this and feel very enriched because of it.

   I'm healthier since eating this way.
The science of food is covered in a book written by Dallas andMelissa. I've been having trouble with my blood sugar. I was doing okay with a low-fat diet, but I didn't understand why it worked sometimes and didn't work other times. For the first time in my life, my blood sugar is stable and normal after I started the Whole 30. It's not easy at all. You need to plan, think and cook. I wasn't perfect on this plan. I am on the road to a place that I can be healthier, because perfection is the enemy of good enough. I appreciate that a lot. Purchase Well Fed or Well Fed2 as a companion.

   Life changing!!
This book and the Whole30 reset completely changed our lives. If you want to do something for yourself that is the healthiest thing you can ever do, this is it. I've tried everything else. This book explains why it works and why it is beneficial. I will never eat the same thing again because I am so happy with our results.

   90LBS In 9 Months
I have lost 90LBS in the past 9 months. I have tried all of them, but the only one that has worked for me is the diet. I wrote a diet in quotes because it wasn't really for me. This is a lifestyle change that will benefit you. I do not intend to go bad to my old ways. For 14 years, I had a genetic disorder. The episodes would last from 4 hours to 4 days. I was unable to function. I lost people. A friend told me about the Whole30 and I bought it. It was the best thing I could have done. It is easy to follow. The first 6 days were tough. It was so easy after that. I am 9 months in and I keep on going. I have not had a baby for 8 months and 3 weeks. I feel like I'm 30 again because I'm 49. I want to be225 when I was 18.

   Did not enjoy
The author was condescending and I wanted to return the book after the first 5 pages, however, the cost of returning the book was too expensive. The author says that over 125 diseases and conditions are attributed to inflammation. The authors play doctors in this book. If it wasn't written in a tone that talks down to people, this book would have been better. Good nutrition for a healthy lifestyle was the focus. For example, what to eat or avoid with a very short sentence or two.

   lifesaver--literally
The first book to convince me to change my eating ways is this one. The philosophy is supported by lots of science. It makes sense, it just makes sense. Most of the bad foods are gone once I started feeling better. There are habits, habits, habits. If you are considering the Whole30 plan, start with this book. It is easier to follow the plan if you understand why.

It shows you what happens when you eat certain foods. I enjoy reading why I feel the way I do after eating food. This isn't a cook book, but a solid introduction to foods and your body as well as the whole 30 program. At the end, there are some food tips. I suggest the whole 30 Fast and Easy if you are looking for a cook book.
