Wonderful WE NEED EACH OTHER Book!

I really appreciate that this author and book artist did an awesome job demonstrating to children that it's awesome to be independent but at times we do need help from those who love us, Raymond said. The message balances the acceptance of independence and adventure from a parent perspective while offering gentle nudging and reminding that it's okay to include the assistance of others. I totally loved this book, the storyline and the pictures. I purchased this one for my 5 year old grandson and I was informed by his parents that he loved the book! It's a great addition to your family library so don't hesitate on getting this one!

Great book about perseverance!
Derived From Web , Oct 24, 2021
As an early childhood teacher, I often utilize books to introduce and reinforce concepts for the students. The Jabbari Books are some of my new favorites. This author strikes the perfect balance of addressing complicated feelings for children in a very simple yet effective way! I purchased this specifically for a student with a very low frustration threshold, and he referred back to the story when working through an issue. Sometimes books make an impact that discussion cannot!

A wonderful stem story about a boy who persists.
Derived From Web , Jun 5, 2021
I'm a huge fan of the book and the movie. It is about a boy who wants to invent something that can fly across his yard. He tries to do it without any help but discovers that he can't do it alone - that having some support makes the job successful. His father is encouraging but not interfering. His little sister helps him figure it out and shares in his success. The illustrations are great to look at and lead so many great discussions. He also loved the excitement of inventing and making things work. He also has a little sister and appreciated how Jabari's sister Nika in the story was so like his own.

Little boy approved!

My son just adores this book, said his mom. He loves listening to how Jabari gets frustrated and his little sister's interaction with him. I enjoy how his father's response is very understanding of the frustration and validating his son's feelings then gently steering him to a more positive way of dealing with just a big emotion as anger.

We're huge fans of Jumps, so we got this book and I love it even more! The dynamic of Jabari with his dad and sister are just too cute. And I love the expressions of frustration and how his dad helps him through, too. My son has taken a few too many naps, his mom said.

Good story line for kids and adults!
Derived From Web , Oct 19, 2020
Gave this book to my grandkids, niece and nephews. Loved the story line and the fact that my late son's name was Jabari. I also have a niece named Nika, so it was like a family story, Mr. Dhaliwal said. She said Jabari and my 'Nika got into all kinds of things. Yea, that was pretty impressive. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

Perfect for young builders and kiddos with younger siblings!!!
Derived From Web , Sep 24, 2020
This book is by far the best. He's a builder, and I have a little brother who also happens to be an engineer. In the story Jabari attempts to build something and continues to fail. Dad suggests including his baby sister as his partner, and together they are able to make the plane fly. Other to note, Jabari became frustrated in the story, dad stepped in and gave him a calm down technique and that really was the icing on the cake for me. This book is not only a great story, but it has life lessons too. It's great to see so many people love it, said Blair. It's great to be back home, said Blair.
