   Great for beginners
We borrowed the book from the library and bought it when we had to return it. My son who plays baseball is starting to read longer books and wants to read this one every night. It is enjoyable for kids and their parents.
   Don't Waste Your Money
If you think your child needs a story about a selfish rabbit that eats other people's food and refuses to think of them, then this is the book for you. Most of the problems in the world are reflected in the Jack books. I don't want to buy another one.
   Loved the book
The book was given to my sisters grandchild for his birthday. She said that it was easy to read and that he is named Jack.
   Negative story
I will return the books I bought. I can't read negative books to my grandson.
   A winner at my house!
I bought a book for my grandson. We were both enchanted by the story that we read together. I will definitely buy more Jack stories.
   Great early chapter book
Jack at Bat is the new favorite of my first graders. The class applauds when Jack is promoted from bat boy to pinch hitter and hits a home run. His ambivalence to winning was unexpected as he skips home base to eat cracker jacks. The illustrations are fresh and bold and the writing is at the perfect level for reluctant readers. Can't wait for the next book to come out
