Book Overview

In this Fancy Nancy I Can Read story from New York Times bestselling team Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser, there's no such thing as too many tutus Or is there?

Fancy Nancy's closet is bulging (that's a fancy way of saying it won't close). Nancy's mom thinks she should give away some of her tutus--but Nancy knows a fancy girl can never have too many tutus But when Ms. Glass tells her class they will have a fancy swap-and-shop at school, will Nancy bring in some tutus to trade? And what happens when she finds the tutu of her dreams?

Fancy Nancy: Too Many Tutus is a Level One I Can Read book, which means it's perfect for children learning to sound out words and sentences. The back matter features a list of the rich vocabulary words that are used throughout the story along with their definition.

This Level One I Can Read book is an excellent choice to share during homeschooling, in particular for children ages 4 to 6. It's a fun way to learn to read and as a supplement for activity books for children.

   Both Granddaughters Love This Book!
I had previously purchased this book for my 4-year-old granddaughter, and really enjoyed it. When I was going to visit my other 4-year-old granddaughter, I ordered a copy to take to her. She is a big Fancy Nancy fan, but she doesn't have this book. During our visit, we read it many times! I love the Fancy Nancy books because they teach a lot of vocabulary without appearing educational.

   Great book
I decided to publish books for my niece's birthday this year. She turned 3 and has a love for books. I chose this one because it is a level 1 reader, yet it has a nice little story. I have a feeling that she will be an early reader and these books are just the right kind for it. The book is a nice size : she can hold herself while reading to or you can grab it and go. Plus, who does not love Fancy Nancy, she is a funny girl!

   Great....
My four-year-old daughter loves every one of the Fancy Nancy books. Plus, the vocabulary used is great and is really a cut above the average kiddie book. We have five or six of these in the series and are all entertaining.

   Early reader for learning vocabulary--
Thus, the first reader book is better suited for a bit more advanced reader than Level One, but is a great book for learning vocabulary and sharing the value of. The tutus are reminiscent of all my young granddaughters's wardrobes, so that they love this story. Great for reading together with an adult!

Cute story, with a great lesson in empathy and friendship
This was bought for my 5 yo who also loves tutus. It is a story that both children and parents will like and relate to. Nancy does too much stuff, but wants more. But my favorite part is when Nancy wants to do the same thing that her friend does, and decides to let her friend have it because she realizes she already has so much. It is a concept that is difficult to teach children, so that it was a really nice talking point.

Fancy Nancy will teach your kid to help others through selfless acts.
We love Fancy Nancy and all her to-toos. In the book, Great Morel is represented. Appeals to all ages, but is probably meant for the pre-kindergarten to the first grade audience.

My daughter loves the Fancy Nancy and her fancy words
What I like most is that Fancy Nancy has several lessons within one story to grow your little reader's character and vocabulary.
