   Little bible study book
I love how the Matthew & Daniel story is linked with the story of Jesus. It helps me explain the Bible to my toddler.

   Disappointing.
Daniel did not pray out of habit to God ; he faithfully prayed to God because he loved and trusted God. To say that Daniel's prayer life was out of habbit grossly misrepresent who he was.

My favorite story of my 4 year old son is Daniel and the Lions, so I absolutely love this book and how it helped me explain the gospel and talk more about Jesus through his favorite story.

This is a wonderful book for children about finding shadows in the story of Jesus. At the end of the book, the author explains how the parts of the story with the gold lion Jesus foreshadow. It is short enough and simple enough that my 3 year old was able to understand and appreciate it, but older children would enjoy it as well. We need more books for children like this :
