Book Overview

This Description may be from another edition of this product.

Joseph had a little overcoat, but it was full of holes--just like this book When Joseph's coat got too old and shabby, he made it into a jacket. But what did he make it into after that? And after that?

As children turn the pages of this book, they can use the die-cut holes to guess what Joseph will be making next from his amazing overcoat, while they laugh at the bold, cheerful artwork and learn that you can always make something, even out of nothing.

An amusing, involving book for young kids
There is a book with illustrations. As Joseph's coat gets tattered and torn, the pieces get made into other, smaller clothes and useful things, until there's nothing left to make a book! I get glowing reports from the parents when I buy copies of their children's books.

such a fun and creative children's book
We picked up a children's book at a Free Little Library and were very pleased with the story, artwork, and thoughtful details. We had to give it as a gift to another child.

Daughter's favorite book - she can't read yet but loves to "read" it to her friends
I was asked to read this book to her after she found it at the children's museum. As more children came, they asked me to read it again. It must have been read at least 5 times. It was necessary for us to get it.

   Reuse & Repurpose
There is a book about recycling fabric into many different things. We live in such a buy and toss society that we forget the beauty of reuse.

   Beautiful book!
One of my favorite books. The illustrations are striking. Lots of little details in the colors. I bought this for my daughter when she was in kindergarten, and she loved it. I bought it for my son who is in preschool and he also loves it. A.
