Thank you for these wonderful 'translations' of Shakespeare's works
Thanks for these wonderful translations, Robert. They make all the difference to me, a new student to Shakespeare, at the ripe age of 59, Mr. Caramore said. He writes so much that makes my hair stand on end. What a genius!

   100% useful resource!
This book, and the entire series, is a great resource for teachers. It provides a page by page, line by line, paraphrase of the Bard's work, which is helpful for teaching with Shakespeare. Anyone who is trying to teach, or understand, the works of Shakespeare should have these books.

   Helped son in English class
When he told me he would have to read Othello and Much Ado About Nothing, I was worried. He says having a "normal" translation on one side and the original on the other helped him better understand the play and the significant development of the story. The entire series is highly recommend.

I bought Ado about Nothing from the above mentioned seller and what I got in the mail was an older version, same book, but I needed the version in the PICTURE not the one they sent me. It was the first book my teacher told us to read and she said the version we got was terrible. When I emailed the seller, I never got a response and waited for a week and still nothing. I got a little angry, and I was not satisfied. I'm not sure how reliable the rest of their products are, but from my experience it was not good.

   Much Ado About Something...
Of the Shakespeare books I have read, Much Ado About Nothing stands out for several reasons. Note the fold: The notes on the bottom of each page were useful because I didn't have to take time to search for archaic words in a dictionary. It also tells us that this book had an intriguing plot. Although I do not clearly understand the motives of the cruel Don John, his plan to destroy the happiness of the Hero of Claudio is quite clever. Furthermore, I found Beatrice and Benedick's relationship to be somewhat bizarre, it quickly transforms from hate to love with no logical reason. I especially enjoyed the scenes in which the two main characters, Dogberry and Verges, played by Bernadette Peters and Christopher Plummer, respectively. Their constant confusion was amusing, I thought.

   Great Book
Ado is an awesome book i have performed it is good i like it it is full of comedy tragedy and romance! For Shakespeare's Globe critics, the question is: "Do they think he was wild?"

Excellent side-by-side modern translation and annotations make Shakespeare a breeze
Freddie expects that the star will be "100 percent" again this year. We've read Shakespeare for years as a family, especially Asimov's Guide to Shakespeare before attending plays as a quick overview, so this translation is perfect for our high schooler in her Shakespeare class. This is a great book, highly recommend.

   It's not appropriate for teens.
It was assigned to my daughter in the 8th grade. The book is not appropriate for children. The book contains many racist and offensive language, including the use of the N-word. My daughter's teachers were not interested and she changed her reading material.

   Easy to read
A great book to read. It has the original and a modern English page by side for easy reading and understanding.
