Really helped a non-shakespeare person understand
This book really liked. Was able to see the real Shakespeare part and read an easy translation if I didn 't know what was going on.

   Super satisfied!
I actually bought this book because my daughter needed it for the school. It was therefore exactly what we needed and came in a timely manner. Thank you so much for the kind words! !

   No fear Shakespeare!
As a 10th grade English teacher, I love this version and recommend it to all my students. This book arrived in excellent condition and I told all my students to try Amazon for used copies.

   No fear is great
The book was a big help to the 10th grade Lit class. Thankfully, it arrived just a few days after being ordered, as we had not planned to study Julius Caesar in advance and did not understand Shakespearese.

How can one describe the plays of Shakespeare? They're fabulous and for that reason I bought this book for my sophomores who struggle with the wording. This will be a big help as they read the play. I had to laugh ''. Shakespeare has never written a prediction play. Yes, there are omens that foreshadow what is to come, but the reader never knows how or when it will happen. This is a very helpful book that transcribes Shakespeare's play in modern language.

   No Fear Shakespeare Julius Caesar
As an older adult that is somewhat isolated, I started the study of Shakespeare on my own with just a big book that had annotaions that were often more cofusing than enlightening. It was rewarding, but it was like plowing through a field full of big rocks. I found reading two or three scenes of an act with No Fear Shakespeare and then reading the corresponding section of Asimov's Guide to Shakespeare great fun. No Fear explains the nuances of language and setting, while Asimov gives rich insight into the characters and events that makes it so easy to remember the diverse characters and plot twists. I found this method makes Shakespeare infinitely easier to not only get through, but also enjoy and savor. My plan is to get as much of No Fear Shakespeare as I can, including all the plays I have been through so laboriously in the past and to apply the technique No FearAsimov. I hope it works for you as well as it did for me.

   Very helpful
My son has difficulty with the text. Someone recommended this book and worked out well. To understand contemporary English and the original text side by side is key to having the content in original text. Thank you for making Shakespeare study easier.

   Perfect tool for school.
If you are reading any Shakespeare for school, the series No Fear is the way to do it. The book is split in half, so there is a side by side comparison of the original Shakespearean and Modern English.

Excellent side-by-side modern translation and annotations make Shakespeare a breeze
Wow! Wow! We read Shakespeare as a family for years, especially Asimov's Guide to Shakespeare as a quick overview before taking plays, but this line-by-line translation is perfect for our high schooler in her Shakespeare Lit class. Highly recommended! Highly recommend! ''
