Amazing foundation for depth psychology. ..

Stein lays out the most succinct understanding of Jung's work I have encountered in 30 years of dream work. It triggered my dreams and processes that I had never experienced before, and it also tapped into my unconscious.

Excelent introduction to Jung

The book gave me all the information I needed to read Jung's works. I am waiting for the paper version as it is easier to consult terms and definitions in this way, but I bought the kindle version first.

Excellent book to get a clear overview of Jung's theory
Derived From Web , Jun 12, 2019
I enjoy the authors writing style. It takes a heavy subject and explains it well. A good understanding of the complexity of the Psyce can be found in this book. Like me, I like to read more about Jungs works.

What do you think about Jung? The subject and writing is great, but the reading is not very interesting.

Worth every cent!

I have been picking up bits and pieces and finally got a picture that sewed them together. Don't forget to read the whole thing! The last two chapters are amazing, but you have to plow through the bulk of it in order to be impressed.

The Perfect Introduction
Derived From Web , Jun 21, 2018
The book was my introduction to Jung. The chapters are easy to understand and concise. Jung's theories can be very dense, and yet they are presented in an understandable way here. I do not agree with all of Jung's ideas, but his thought has inspired my thinking and changed my understanding of the world. This is an excellent starting point to help you understand Jungian theory, as it provides a comprehensive overview of it.
