Funny, witty, daughter loves Junie B Jones!!
My 7 year old has read almost all the books in this series. She enjoys so much these books, reads to me parts that she thinks are really funny I hear her laughing while reading! '' The only negative thing I have to say is that I don 't like that name calling it that's in it. It is part of the elementary school, but just like to hear it, smelly, mean, etc. We love, however, reading these books together at night. I find myself laughing & wanting to keep reading!! ) I do recommend this series, it was the first chapter book series i received in the first grade,'s reading level rose from the middle of the class to the highest in just a few months! It turned her into a great reader. She is now a level of reading ahead in reading. This series made her want to read, and she loves it! What a riot! ''
   Great Book
These latter books teach values even better, they are lessons of hope. My daughter is 9 years old and can not lay these books down once she starts them. Previously, she had problems with reading, but since finding the Junie B Jones series, she has become a reader by choice. I recommend these books to any parents of a kid at an intermediate reading level to a beginning to a high level. This book was fun reading, but not my favorite of the series.
   Cute Book for Beginning Reader
She is simply learning to navigate in a big world full of unwritten rules about what a first grader should say and should not do. The story is simple and well written. The vocabulary is great for an early reader, I have to admit that I am not fond of Junie's tart little sayings at times. I do not allow my children to use words like stupid, which are liberally thrown around in the book. I made clear to my children that I can read Junie B, but if I ever hear Junie B-ish words coming from their mouths, Junie B will find herself at the half price bookstore on the corner.
   Great Bargain through Amazon
The book arrived in great shape, as promised, and was very quickly written. This seller will definitely use it again!
   Ooh, It's a Scary Clown!
Halloween is approaching fast, but this is a holiday that Junie B. Jones is not excited about. In fact, she is kind of scared and upset. It seems that crazy boy Paulie Allen Puffer is back --- he told Junie B. five scary secrets about Halloween that have put her on the holiday. Despite the fact that 2006's information has been bad, Junie B. is still scared. She tries to buy literally from the holiday and doesn't want to hide for a Halloween costume. Julie B. gets a great idea about how to overcome her Halloween fears. It is a silly idea, but one that completely exasparates her mom. This book is full of the usual witty humor, including some fun bits about candy corn not being real corn and thank you sometimes for being a fib. This story is really not too different from any normal story of Junie B. Jones. Most fans of the series will likely eat it up, just like a candy bar.
   Very great series
My voice is so distinctive and lively that I have laughed several times out loud. This series is a hit for my opinion and my daughters.
Don 't buy this book if you are a stickler for grammar. My daughter is in the second grade and I miss reading to her that she can read herself. I read this book to her last night. Sometimes I use it as a teaching tool and correct grammar as we go. I say : This is what she said, this is what is correct. I think the books are hillarious ''.
Probably the Best Junie B. Ever
This is one of the best Junie B. books ever written. I would say it with my other personal favorite Junie B. Jones is a beauty shop guy for the first time. This piece will have you laughing out loud non-stop! We have the book and the recording, and we have heard so many times the funny one liners along with Junie B-even my husband! If Candy Corn is not Corn, what is the type of vegetable? If you don 't have that one in your collection, get it!
   Kids love this series
My daughter turned 7 and loved this book. The whole series has been great for her and she really enjoys reading.
   Fun story!
My granddaughter loves reading all the books by Junior B. She was surprised when we gave her this one as an early Halloween treat!
