Junie is a bad influence

This book is intended for use by first-grade readers. It's terrible grammar and it contains a lot of slang. My granddaughter asked for them and I have purchased 12 so far. On a recent visit, I decided to read one of the books she has kept open and was astonished at the content. Will be looking for a new set of chapter books for a first grader and won't be buying Junie B Jones books anymore.

It's just that she has such a good reputation, Junie B. Jones said. They are for kids but every adult I know loves them too. I first encountered these books at a yard sale and picked them up for my grandson in hopes he would enjoy them. He was 6 at the time and immediately fell in love with the books. He also voiced his support for the second season finale, saying: "There's just too many good shows." He reads the books to himself and then reads them to his younger sister. The only problem with my yard sale purchase is that I had to buy more of them to keep up with grandsons' appetite for books. And, of course, Amazon will deliver right to your door. I love to hear him giggle as he reads them!

I'm a huge fan of Junie B. Jones' books. This book has a great storyline, too. Despite her many attempts to get out of it, Junie B. ends up facing her fear and having a greater appreciation for what she initially feared. It is a short book, compared with some of the other books, but still worth owning.

Who doesn't love Junie B Jones? My daughters are huge fans of the Harry Potter series because they make her laugh out loud. I highly recommend them, especially if you're having difficulty getting your little one to read.

We're big fans of all the Junie B. Jones books, we think. It went well with the theme of the day. It was bought with the help of Amazon's own Aurora World Chirpin' Chick Plush, Medium stuffed animal. My six-year-old niece loved hers.
