Brings awareness of children with “Differences “.
My child read this book to me. In her words. I would definitely recommend this book for other children to read, it was easy to understand how each child was different. !

   Promotes good discussion about differences
The book is wonderful. Donate it to the class if you read it to first graders. Kids got it. Many of them shared their differences.

   Awesome investment!
The book was purchased to teach our children about being different. They love it and so do we. As we read the book, we talk about each page with his class mates. A great purchase.

   How timely this book!
The Justice talked about it and I liked it. I sent it to two of my grandsons. My daughter said it was wonderful because my grandson has asthma, and it turned out that he does!

   Great for all kids!
The book is a wonderful example of a children's book that would benefit both typical children and children with special challenges. US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor has written a book that encourages people who are different and brings awareness to the challenges. I would love for this book to be read in every classroom.

A truly wonderful book to foster ability awareness and celebrate differences.
There are characters with diabetes, asthma, physical disability, hearing and vision impairment, dyslexia, stuttering, Tourette's syndrome, ADHD, nut allergies, and Down syndrome in the book. Our world is more interesting and fun because of the ways we are different. Each of us has unique powers that we can use to make the world more interesting and richer.

   Great kids book about diversity!
I read this book with my 5 year old today. It's a great introduction to diversity for young elementary school children. It encourages kids to ask questions about differences, but also to notice what is the same, as it touches on things like diabetes, asthma, and many more. My 5 year old would agree with my recommendation.

Wonderful message for all kids (and adults)
Our family has asthma and type one diabetes. My son liked seeing a picture of a kid with an inhaler. The book shows how we can explain our differences to others in a way that is understandable. I found it to be appropriate for our 3 and 4 year old, but it would be great for older kids. I am buying more gifts.
