I cannot pull my daughter away from these
Derived From Web , Aug 27, 2021
Each book has 650 pages. I was worried my daughter wouldn't want to tackle them. She didn't want to keep reading after the fifth book of Harry Potter. I can't get her away from these. She gets up to read them. She takes her iPad to bed when she can't sleep because she reads them in breaks during the day. She is reading about 600 pages a day and asking for the next book. In a good series, the book gets even better, which is not always the case.

Great collection
Derived From Web , Aug 12, 2021
It took me a long time to decide to buy this collection for my son. I was concerned that he wouldn't like it because the reviews were more for girls. I decided to risk it and he loved it. I just ordered the next 3 books in the collection because he enjoyed it so much, and he read all 5 books in a really fast time. I recommend this collection to boys as well. The price of this set is better than buying them all individually.

My 11yr old daughter says this is the best story
Derived From Web , Jul 22, 2020
My daughter is a big fan of this series. She can read 1.5 books a day if she wants to, but I had to limit her to 350 pages a day. She says this is her favorite series because it is safe for kids with no LGBT influence. This is not a typical elf and dwarf dungeon story, but it is clean fun and clean humor. I believe book 7 is the last. I bought book 6 for her.

No happy Endings in any of these book
Derived From Web , Dec 2, 2019
I was happy when I first met this author, but after reading a few books I have changed my mind. Good guys never win. Bad guys always win. The bad adults can torture and kill the kids. Unless you count how much a failure they are, the characters never seem to grow or change. I was hoping the good guys would win. I have given up. I watch the news if I want to be depressed.

One book was misprinted
Derived From Web , Jul 11, 2019
Due to school and other activities, our daughter wasn't able to get into this series until this summer. When she reached chapter 72, the book pages reverted back to page 27. I wish we caught this before we had to replace it. We need to get another copy of this book for her.
