Killing Crazy Horse by Bill O'Reilly

This book was a fast and enjoyable read due to the subject matter and Bill O'Reilly's writing style. It covers more than the killing of Crazy Horse. Many other prominent Indian Chiefs are also covered in this book. There is plenty of detail and from what I know, the facts have not been construed. It's an honest look at our country's shameful past on how we treated the natives of this great country.

I have a student of Crazy Horse for many years and am always anxious to add to my considerable library. Made this purchase anticipation come true. He would have appreciated a greater concentration on Crazy Horse himself, not just the other Native American leaders who were included. There was no clear cut answer to the question, "What do you think of the War Leader?"

The detail of the events and the conflicts that went on are always amazing. It makes you feel like you were there. There was no room for the Indians, ever, in the vast wilderness of the United States. 0 3171616 3171578 And then there was the other side, that is how sad to be free and then either be killed or sent to a reservation, because there was no room for the Indians, really, in the vast wilderness of the United States. Bill O'Reilly is a great writer, interviewer and problem solver. Thanks for the history lessons you give us!

This one was a serious page turner, Tunick said. Bill O'Reilly really is an incredible brand with the killing series and they're all just amazing, but Killing Crazy Horse is the best in my opinion. I'm very anxious for the new season of the hit show, "The Sopranos."

What I've learned most is that our ancestors were not wussies, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Yes, they had true grit. Yes, they were perfect, Taylor said. Even the Indians and blacks, I guarantee you, will find something to complain about. Yes, they used a means to end the civil war, but they lifted everyone, he said. We should all have a better idea of what got us here, and be grateful to them, he said.

An excellent history, in the same genre as Bill O'Reilly's other books, reveals a lot of information they don't seem to teach in public schools. 0 14622 14622 And, just like the rest of O'Reilly's books, reveals a lot of information they don't seem to teach in public schools. You learn a lot about things you didn't know. If only the white settlers could have learned to treat Americans with dignity and respect _ and kept in mind the treaties that were broken, Mr. Rule told the judge.

If you like the "Killing" books, You'll Enjoy it

I have read all the books. Some are better than others, but they are all above average and highly educational, too. I really enjoyed the book, the coverage of a wide swath of American history and Indian relations, he said. If you have enjoyed the others, you will enjoy this, but it is like ranking ice cream flavors. There are no bad guys, but some are more enjoyable than others.

Like all of his previous books, this one was an excellent and enjoyable read. It was very well written and very well documented, as well as being very informative, Morgenthau said. Like his previous killing books, it is written in the present tense which helps the reader become more involved in the events being depicted. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this type of accounting.

I have all of Bill O'Reilly's novels, as well as all of the movies made from some of them. If you think about it, Killing Horse would be a great movie. Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard do an exemplary job researching their subjects, and just as great a job in getting the information into print! While I can't imagine who may be the next target, I will be among the first to purchase a copy.
