   Also disappointed
I expected more from a book highlights. A little too advanced for kindergarten and post-COVID-19 learning. Probably later :

   Enriching fun filled book
My gosh! Highlights grew up my children! I love this magazine ''. Filling warm stories to warm the heart. Puzzles and funny jokes to make you laugh. Gallant and Goofus help you to make choices. The drawings are made by children. Science - experiments and more. What is not to love?

   More suitable for pre-K
We LOVE Highlights so I am really surprised by this workbook. It is a cute book, but I wouldn t classify it as reading for kindergarten. It is mostly alphabet writing practice and finding differences in pictures and matching.

This book is great but, I do think the Big Fun Workbook is a better buy.
As you can see from the images I have uploaded, this book is very colorful, it has nice learning activities and is a very helpful tool. With 50 pages, it is easy to write and work with a child with. The big fun book is, however, 250 pages with much of the same stuff in it plus other themes. It is priced about $5.00 more and I recommend it starting out. I bought both and use them with my daughter and I can tell you now that she loves the big book more.

   Great book for teaching.
Exellent Workbook TO START teaches you to teach your kids how to read... Keep in mind that this will not make your kid read after the book is done, but is a great book to teach your kids how to find the proper way to pronounce each letter.

Good book to practice writing letters, learn sight words and rhymes
My child enjoys this book Reading a lot! He is beginning to learn to write words and read upper and lower case letters on a line. My child really likes to find letters and objects in Hidden Pictures activities. There are also some sight word and rhyme pages. I suggest this book to a new reader and writer.

Stands by its name - Learning and Fun both are included
I tried their sticker books, their puzzle books and lots of other variety of books and loved them all. This one does not let me down either. It has 50 pages filled with alphabet practice, puzzles, and objects all suitable for my 5 year old, who is currently going to kindergarten. My daughter immediately took the book and got to work. I enjoyed looking at her trying to solve the puzzles that bog her brains and in the process, I saw her thinking process develop a little at a time. The quality of the book is great and, other than the content, sets it apart from the dollar store books. Highlights continues to deliver great content for age-specific.
