   Great series of books!
I recently purchased a number of the books from these series and they are very well received with the preschoolers I counsel. The stories themselves are written like social stories, teaching children to handle certain social situations from a first person account. The text is short and direct. The illustrations are relatable and engaging and support the concepts very well. Children tend to look at the pictures and ask relevant questions. They notice the facial expressions and other details and make appropriate inferences. Each book has a guide for adults that has very useful suggestions for expanding discussion and activities and games. I tend not to use these sections in other books because I don 't always see their usefulness, but these books seem to include very relevant and helpful tips that I do intend to use. I look forward to buying even more books from this series!

   Very simple, great for a 4 year old!
I made this purchase because I am having a very frustrating time with my son's slapping phase, whatever the cause, and this goes against the rules at home and at daycare. This certainly covers why things are done in a very simple way, but general enough for a 4 year old to understand. I am also very happy that it is available on Kindle and Kindle apps for all my devices to use!

   Kids following rules
I am a kindergarten student and I think it is important for children to know and follow rules in order to be safe. We currently live in an uncertain world. If children know what is expected of them at home and in school, this book helps children understand what you are trying to teach them on their level, and this book was another opportunity to teach her how obeying the rules will affect her life in the future. Early teaching on their level, they will always remember,she now practice more at home and school, so that she can always pick it up again and again.

   Reading is helpful to lead by example
I have a few of these books for my little guy when the typical behavior of a little toddler started to rear its ugly head. It has helped each and every time to address things that seemed to be repeated over and over again despite our gentle, but serious conversations about behavior and following the rules : hands are not for sharing, germs are not for hitting, etc. My son is almost 4 and he enjoys being read, so this works for us.

This book is LOVE! The author and the illustrator did a wonderful job. Not too many words, but just enough. Love that they have children of all different ethnicity and ability.

We are currently using this book series as social stories for a child on the autism spectrum. These books have helped him understand what is expected in the classroom setting. We routinely read these books to help him maintain appropriate behavior.
