Ariana Stein, a graduate from California State University, Dominguez Hills, has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Ariana spent the first eight years of her professional career in the corporate world. Her life changed with the birth of her baby boy. She immediately realized that bilingualism played a very important role in his future, as well as the future of other children.

Binding is bent

Love the books, but almost every Lil libro book I ordered from Amazon has a very bent spine and doesn 't lay flat. I tried to flatten them all with lots of weight, but to no avail. The books content is fabulous, but if the binding will bother you, try not ordering from Amazon.

It actually reflects the Spanish we speak

It has been difficult to find bilingual books in German Spanish to read to my 2-year-old books that actually reflect how we speak. All the Spanish books we checked from the library and browsed in retail bookstores are written in bilingual and that is certainly not the Spanish we speak at home. This is the first book in which words are used in Spanish words. I am glad that I came across this great find on Amazon. I wish it was more than basic words but is appropriate for my kid now's age.

My spouse is a Spanish and I have studied human development, so that when it comes to books and in particular native Puerto Rican books, we are quite picky. These are absolutely fantastic. From the developmental words to the accurate support, we love these books and can 't wait to own all the books of this author.

The drawings have nothing to do with what you read most of the time, the majority of the books I ordered have only one word per page. These books had the potential to be something larger and I am disappointed that they were not. These books are essentially picture books for infants, but not for the beginning reader or for fun stories at bedtime.

These books are my favorite. But what is even better is that my 17-month-old granddaughter LOVES her more. Reading them to my feeds my soul with happiness and endless love. I love the way my granddaughter makes the facial expressions when I read it to her. The next step is to get her to speak the words. Merci beaucoup, Jean!

My book is warped ðŸ™

For the first time, though, I received a book in a damaged condition. Which seems to me that the whole book isn 't terrible because the rest of the book seems fine, but it seems kind of subpar considering I paid for a new brand. It doesn’t lay flat and won’t stand straight on the book shelf unless I have the pages fanned out. A little disappointed, but doesn 't dissuade me from buying Lil Libros in the future.

My 20 month old daughter loves re-acting the expressions she sees in the book, and my parents get a kick out of seeing her do all the expressions when she is asked in Spanish and English. As a first generation American, it is important to me that my children learn Spanish and learn the history of her relatives'native country. These books make this possible and fun!
