not in the league of "Scarlet" which I loved. Slow
I loved the league of Scarlet. Slow, a thin plot, some actions and events which challenge credulity and disturbingly, much physical maltreatment of women. You might love this opinion. The concept of ego, self- esteem or self- importance is a twentieth century concept, based on Freud's writings in the late 1800's. A novel set hundreds of years ago has an anachronism.

   A reliable seller
It arrived in perfect condition. It was definitely a library book, but that's okay. I removed the film libraries from the hard covers of the book and found it in excellent condition.

is wonderful and unexpected and fabulously horrible
This book is wonderful and terrible. It's realistic and things have to happen. The characters shine through the darkness. They are engaging and realistic. The secondary characters are amazing.
