I'm so glad there's more

This is something I recommend. You can expect more great world- building, vital characters and friends in the sequel, with a storyline executed with unique patience and breathing room. I felt gripped. I' ve never read anything like this before. You will care, that's important. You' ll care so much. If you' re aromantic or asexual, you' ll have a friend in this book. And you will have more interesting dreams. I can't wait to find out what's next.

Amazing (unclassifiable) sequel
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2019
There was a book that was unlike anything else. It was part science fiction, part fantasy and it was amazing. Latchkey is fantastic, even more out there, with solid logic, and story, while keeping the weird, strange, intriguing feel and images. If you are interested in new ideas and being taken places that you can't imagine with a great main character then this is the book for you. One point read the archives first ?

There are monsters in every one. The next one is more important than how you react to them. This is the last part. What happens after a defeat?

It keeps getting better...
Derived From Web , Sep 15, 2018
And more. I was a fan of Archivist Wasp. I was blown away by the vivid imagery of the future and the depth of insight provided to the mythos. Is this now? Now there is something. Nicole Kornher- Stace has imagined three worlds, and Latchkey takes you further into them. It was before WorldGhost WorldWasp's World. Each shift leads to more answers, more questions and an ever increasing bond between the reader and the characters. The way the author captures those wonderfully awkward moments between true friends, the ones that need no words exchanged, the ones that no one but the two may ever understand is the real hidden treasure here. After the first book, I didn't know there would be a second, but I can't wait for the third.

like its predecessor "Archivist Wasp"
Derived From Web , Jul 31, 2018
It's a ghost story, a post- apocalyptic story of survival, a deep study of complicated characters and their drives to survive in the face of cruelty, violence, and timeless rituals is what Latchkey is all about. It is a single work. Nicole Kornher- Stace's series is so strange and violent that I can't remember ever reading it before. Her voice is unique and deserves attention. I don't want to give too much away about the book, but I will let the reader discover for themselves how strong Isabel is and how she struggles with power and grace.

Reminded me a lot of A Canticle for Leibowitz, except with about 1000 times more hope.
Derived From Web , Jul 23, 2018
I devoured two books by Nicole Kornher- Stace over the weekend. It's post- apocalyptic with ghosts and new religions, but it's gorgeous. There is a huge amount of love for friends. The friendship between Isabel and the ex- upstarts, the friendship between the ghost and Foster, and the friendship between the ghost and Isabel are just some of the amazing things that happen in the movie. The way that the Before time is viewed by the people is wonderful. It's rare for a sequel to be as good as the first. I didn't think he could be surpassed. But Latchkey was the one who managed it. The books reminded me of A Canticle for Leibowitz, but with 1000 times more hope.
