Revisiting the pleasures of an old friend
RD grew up reading Grew up. I used to stay at my grandparents house and spend hours in my 'Lolo's office going through his shelf of old RD issues. My old ritual would be reading Laughter... '' first, then Humor in Uniform ''. Then on to All in a Day's Work '' and so on, section by section until I finished the entire magazine. I started the day with laughter and ended up learning so much with each issue. Here I am admittedly biased, but a good laugh is not something that anyone should turn down. And the collection you get here provides you with lots of material to support.

Laughs Galore - and in Color!
I have always enjoyed reading Reader's Digest and enjoyed the jokes in each issue. I have also purchased several books over the years published by Reader's Digest, so that I know that their products are of excellent quality. This book lives up to the reputation of the company. Many of the jokes made me laugh out loud and I also enjoyed the cartoons. I was pleasantly surprised to find them on my Kindle in color. Some of the jokes were ones I had previously read, but the quality of the book is excellent.

   tired old jokes
Not the best joke book I have ever read. All clean humor, but most of it has been written many times before in other books. A few good ones, but you have to look deep to find them.
