Book Overview

This Description may be from another edition of this product.

Three decades after The Baby-Sitters Club first rocked our world--like scoring your own phone line, in your room --the beloved franchise is back to binge (and share) like never before

In the most exciting news since we first learned of Kristy Thomas's great idea to start the Baby-Sitters Club, the book series is now available only from Audible as an audio experience with special guest narrator Elle Fanning, the multi-talented actress and fan of BSC.

With endearing characters and enduring storylines filled with lessons of self-discovery, the beauty of true friendship, and the power of youth-led entrepreneurship itself, the BSC has never felt more now. So, whether you're joining the club for the first time, or the first time in quite a while, spend time with stories that transcend the ages. Gather up the kids--not to mention those nieces, nephews, and neighbors alike--for all the twists, turns, hilarity, and burns of tween life in Stoneybrook, Connecticut

As the newest member of the BSC, Dawn is eager to prove herself. So when a big job comes along, she jumps at the chance to show everyone what she's made of. The Barretts are even more challenging than Dawn expected. The house is a mess, Mrs. Barrett is unreliable, and the kids are out of control. Dawn knows she's a great baby-sitter, but this is impossible She only knows one thing for sure--a member of the BSC never gives up

The best friends you'll ever have--with classic BSC covers and a letter from Ann M. Martin

   Illustrations Changed
The illustrations have changed so that it was hard to know all the characters. The characters looked so different compared to the four books I had already bought. Dawn, the newest member of BSC. The wild three, and boy are they impossible! Lets get this straight though : the illustrations became much poorer than the new drawings - but as a new 'lover'I would recommend still, since the story hasn 't changed a bit, only the illustrations 3.
   Love the book
Raina and Gale love graphic novels and Raina and Gale's the best! Hope you enjoy this book and all Babysitters Club books a lot! Hope you enjoy this book!
   Amazing book
Great quality in the story ( written by my 10 yr old daughter ). So glad I could find this on Kindle, I'm so glad I could find it. I think it's a great platform and the book was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend this book. Anyone who is on the fence about receiving this book would definitely recommend it! This is the fifth of the series. I would recommend getting all of them, there are such great books!
Baby sitters club:by Ann m. Martin
I liked this story ''. Some people get stolen, even from people they know, but once I lost in the target. I was walking with my mom, then I saw big toy animals, then I turned back, but my mom was gone. I started looking a little for her, but then I went to someone that works here. I told them how my mom looked. And they sent people to look for her out for them. But soon we found her. I did get into a little trouble but I got out of it, but one thing... WHAT DOES BIZZER MEAN?! Every time I see that word I get confused well that what I got in my mouth I read your books soooo... bye bye.
   Best price
These were the best prices compared to other places. Note : these are comic books written with illustrations. Not in paragraph form, but the story is the exact same. That is what the kids are reading in 2020, so my 11 year old cousin says!
   Book Review
Dawn ends up taking a little more than she can handle My Thoughts '', Dawn ends up taking a little more than she can handle. She ends up baby-sitting for the Barrett kids and learns that it isn 't an easy task. Mrs. Barrett talks to her barely, doesn’t fill her up on important things and becomes hard to reach. On top of all this, the children become dependent on Dawn instead of their mother. This book touches on what it is like for a child to be kidnapped by their own parents. The steps that should be taken if something like it should happen. It also shows a happy ending and in many situations that isn 't the case, but the result in this book. I really do like these books because they touch base on topics that are not always discussed in books for children of this age. I like that they are turning them into modern novels and making them more graphic for today's readers. I look forward to reading the next book in the series soon!
Perfect for the pre-teen to teen reader
My sister and I read these books again as young readers and now my twelve-year-old loves them too. The hot ticket items seem to be illustrated versions. My daughter was so excited that I bought them all for her birthday... and then read the 6th one in an evening! Great, and CLEAN Storylines. Totally applicable to the age group. Would highly recommend.
Better than the kids watching tv at least.
My 11 year old daughter really loves these books and has almost the whole series. I gave it three stars because I find it has really no educational value and I also don 't really care for the comic book style layout. The kids go through them quickly and of course it's a series so that you buy the next one faster.$$ It doesn't seem to have any bad messages and she is reading rather than watching t.v, so that is good.
My 9 year old LOVES this series. She reads ...
My 9-year-old LOVES this series. She reads over and over again these books. The content is appropriate for age groups and is more relatable than some other graphic novels.
   Love love love these books!
My daughter loves graphic novels, especially the Baby-sitters Club series, so that when this newest edition came out, we pre-ordered right away. She was so excited on the day it came in the mail! If you have second graders and have a hard time getting them engaged in reading, I highly recommend this series, it is great, beautifully illustrated and an all-around great story line that keeps the kids invested deeply in reading!
