Illusions shatter - and Sophie and her friends face impossible choices - in this astonishing eighth book in the New York Times and USA Today best-selling Keeper of the Lost Cities series.
Sophie Foster wants answers. But after a lifetime of lies, sometimes the truth is the most dangerous discovery. Even the smallest secret comes with terrifying new responsibilities.
And Sophie's not the only one with blank spots in her past, or mysteries surrounding her family. She and her friends are part of something much bigger than they imagined - and their roles have already been chosen for them.

The best book of all time is Kokc. I have gotten so many people to read it that they are all addicted. The most adorable ship of all time is Keefoster. There is aSPOILER ALERTTT. Since Neverseen, I have called her mom Oralie. That's right, MWAHAHAHAHA.

Disappointing :(
Derived From Web , Nov 13, 2019
I'm a huge fan of this series. I believe it should have ended a long time ago. Since at least book 6, the series has been superfluous. The author is drawing out the series as long as she can, and it's getting hard to read in places. The whole thing about the couple. It made me angry. Shannon had to wrap that up a long time ago. Every time we think it's coming to an end, there's another unnecessary drama. Oh no, it's not possible. Fitz doesn't want them to stay together. Fitz is having a meltdown again. That was a big thing, because she didn't know what Fitz was doing. He freaks out if anything doesn't go as he wants it. I don't like Fitz's character anymore. That's right. The last few books haven't been good for me, but I don't hate the series.

I don't like the end of the book, but I like everything else about it. Can we get a sequel within the next few months?

The lines between good and evil are blurring...
Derived From Web , Nov 11, 2019
The line between good and evil is blurry as she and her friends try to juggle it. The beginning of Keefe's legacy may be finished by the Neverseen. The new edition of KLC was great.

missing something (NO spoilers)

I started reading the keeper of the lost cities series last year. I was taken aback. It felt amazing to find a fantasy series with a female character. The 8th book is really intense. The unmatchable scheme was not as well thought out as I would have liked, but you learn a lot of missing information. Shannon Messenger has a way of making you feel good about yourself. At times, I felt like banging my head on a table because of the way she ignores me. The Neverseen weren't seen much in the book. I would have liked to see more of that. If you dislike cliffhangers as much as I do, it might be a good idea to wait for the 9th book to come out before starting this one. This book was recommended by us because we learned who his mom was. Hope you found this helpful, my thoughts are a little disorganized The 10 year old keeper fan is 100%

The the best series I have ever read!
Derived From Web , Nov 10, 2019
First of all, I am a fan of the two girls. With this in mind, Fits is trying to find their way around being an item, and that might cause a problem withSophie being unmatchable. One of her enemies is actually not as bad as we have been led to believe, as she is thrust into a leadership role with her new team appointed by the Councillors. There were a few mysteries to be solved and people to save. One of the questions she has been looking for is life changing for her. I adore the books and the characters, places, and humor within them. I read every book before starting the newest edition because they are well written. I can't wait for the next one, it was a very harrowing conclusion.

i HATE this book
Derived From Web , Nov 9, 2019
I was excited for this book but it was AWFUL. I would rate it less than one star. Shannon could've done more. I expected this book to be the most exciting and the peak of the series, but it wasn't. I feel like if you wanted to read more than one book you could. Everyone is different, everyone is a jerk. Shannon is throwing up on the pages in the book. It had no plot, it was all over the place, and it was just as bad as all the other books. This book hurt me. Don't buy, you've been warned.
