Great Reminder of How We Gained Our Freedoms
Although I have found many of Michener's novels to be entertaining and historically correct, this little book has made the greatest impression. Every middle school in the country should have it. It should be a must for students from sixth grade up. If we don't remind our young people how important our Constitution and Bill of Rights are, we may lose more freedom. It's easy to read and comprehend.

   Historic
The chapter in the history of humankind is explained in this book. I lost it when I lent it, but I recovered it and read it again. Thanks.

   Book Arrived
The book was new but still had some water stains. It was very slow to ship. The seller did not reply to inquiries.

   A Great Read
It's typical of Michener. Absorbing, informative, and interesting. I love the author. I have never been bored while reading Michener.

   Husband really liked the book
The husband liked the book. I like the books I have read, but he likes the books I have not read. There is a person named "Greedy Garrett."

   He loved it.
I ordered this series for my grown son who loves westerns. He was a big fan of the author.

   A Good Western
The book was better than I thought. The action in the west was well developed and powerful. The Stranger was a bit of a superhero, but it was kept as plausible as possible. I was surprised that he didn't shy away from the violence in the Western world. My only complaint was Breanna's constant reference to the man she loved. 10 times is getting a bit redundent, but one mention is necessary. It's a better than normal Christian Western.

cost could have been less but just happy to find was a gift for my elderly mom ...
It was yellowed from age but still readable and a gift for my mom, who loves his books. It was good to get it.

"Lagacy" & I am Honored with Al Lacy's Stand for GOD!!
I have been reading Al Lacy's books for a while. Most of the books I own are on tape. I am buying copies of this series for my church library. I am left happy and content by the way Al Lacy uses his caricature. Sometimes real live is not like this, but God can do anything. It was!

   Michener's Best History!
The book is wonderful! I've been a fan of Michener for a long time, but I've never heard of the history of how the Constitution was written. It was short. I learned more from this book than from any history class I've taken in school. One of the reasons that I'm a fan is that Michener was a historian and always got the important facts right. I wondered how my history teachers made the subject so boring. This small gem of a book is so great because they focused on dates and the names of the leaders instead of the relationships and conflicts that shaped out Constitution.
