   Lots of Delicious Ideas
There are many delicious baking and dessert recipes in the British book. American users should be aware that the measurements are shown in metric, which means having a kitchen scale to weigh ingredients, and also in British teaspoons and tablespoons, which are slightly larger than their American counterparts. It may take a bit of trial and error to get the exact results you were looking for from this book.

   Just don't.
I have no problem with the other Leon recipe books that I have, and I'm perplexed by this book. This one, too... I' ve tried to enjoy it. I really have. I' ve tried many recipes from it, but not a single one has worked. Maybe I' ve been unfortunate in my choice of recipes, but the jam didn't set, the polenta cake fell into crumbs, and the gluten free bread was a complete disaster. I can go on, but I will spare you. Don't bother, get one of the other great recipe books they' ve produced instead, and avoid this one like the plague. Is my copy? Heading to a charity shop.

   Haven't cooked from this yet
Either very complicated recipes with unusual ingredients or simple ones I already know. Leon's usp has not been worked out.

   Good things
There are a lot of recipes in here, from the traditional, such as blueberry cheesecake, to a wide range ofGF recipe choices. There are some obscure ingredients in the Leon books. These days, it's fashionable to write a cookbook with hard- to- get items included. I have bought a lot of unusual ingredients, which have been used once or twice, and then confined to the back of the cupboard. I look for an acceptable substitute if I don't feel I will use the ingredient on a regular basis.

   Well formatted
LEON have formatted their book very well. The reader can jump back and forth from one section to another with ease, thanks to the lovely, colourful photography and plenty of recipes. I don't think this book is my favourite, as it just doesn't interest me at all.
