Each photo has a small exerpt on the back. Truly one of the most beautiful books I've ever seen. Proudly displaying it on my coffee table and I pick it up often, it definitely isn't a one and done, it's just a matter of time.

skewed to Euro-North America region, more geared towards photographers..

While the general audience is likely to appreciate the pictures and travel vicariously, the excellent content seems to make this production somewhat of a lost opportunity. And for one, apparently not one remote location was found - home to some of the stunning natural features. The Asian representation drops to one from Asia and three from Africa. While the descriptions provide coordinates, an average reader is not likely to figure out how to get anywhere close to these locations and frame their imaginations on how far this is from a known non-remote place. Given that this is a photographer-heavy narration, some may not be practical for most readers. However, he said, "There are some who would like to see more uniform representation across the globe."
